| Applications |
SPT-MSA40 is used to improve the viscosity of concrete mixtures,
combined with the normal types of polycarboxylate.
When concrete mixtures dosed with other admixtures display segregation,
water bleed or settlement, SPT-MSA40 can be used to replace part of the original polycarboxylate to improve the workability, and
completely eliminate segregation, water bleed or settlement of the
concrete mixtures. |

| Benefits |
The superplasticizing and viscosity-adjusting action allows for the
production of high slump flowing concrete
with excellent workability and slump retention even at a very low water/cementtitious
materials ratio. The dispersing action maximizes cement hydration
efficiency and improves early and long term compressive strengths of the
concrete .
SPT-MSA40 does not contain any other intentionally added chlorides
and will not initiate corrosion on steel reinforcement in the concrete. |

| How to use | SPT-MSA40 is usually used to combine with other normal polycarboxylate-based admixture(10%-15% is SPT-MSA40) to effectively improve the workability and viscosity of concrete mixtures. The dosage of the combined-admixture can be much larger than normal polycarboxylate-based admixtures, without concern of segregation, water bleed or settlement because of over-dosage. It is possible to obtain much higher water reduction (up to 45%). | ||

SPT-MSA40 is a concentrated product with 30% of solid. It is not directly used for concrete mixing. SPT-MSA40 is usually diluted with water and combined with other polycarboxylate-based admixtures.
